home

Coming back home is always a little strange but it's surprising how quickly it feels like I never left. But after a while it starts to feel a bit too familiar and so I always promise myself to re-discover Vancouver in new ways. I can't believe I had never been to Deep Cove before last Sunday. It's absolutely gorgeous and it was the best way to spend my first day back on the west coast. Now that the sun is out and the temperature is creeping up to the 20s, it finally feels like summer after that looong bitter cold winter back east.

And as you may be able to tell I tweaked some things around here. Nothing drastic, nothing exciting. In fact, there will probably be some more changes around here over the coming weeks and months. I am a complete amateur when it comes to HTML coding and whatnot so we'll see how things go! In the meantime, my to-do list consists of finding a job, hunting down a bakery that sells gluten-free bread comparable to this company, putting together an online portfolio, and spending as much time at the beach as possible.

Happy weekend!
