{an Ikea ledge w/ picture frames}
I just got a new bed! I hesitate telling you which bed I had before, it may resemble a crib… (important note: my bed in Toronto IS a big girl's bed. My Vancouver bed just needed an update). Despite all the wonderful sprawling space, I was slightly disappointed there was no headboard. When I brought it into my room it looked like something was missing. So I took to my trusty Pinterest boards and low and behold I had pinned MANY alternative headboard pics and even some sans headboards. I tracked down some of my favourites that are easy to do and low-budget friendly.

{washi tape - how clever! big bright cushions help too!}

{a piece of barn wood w/ a sweet message}

{a branch! who would of thought that could look cool}

{paint your wall chalkboard and draw a headboard}

{pin up string/wire and use clothespins to attach photos}

{stick up a collage using wash tape}

{paint a headboard - I love that colour!}

{push your bed against a ledge and prop up books and frames}

{a framed photo collage - use different sizes!}

{a string of lights - think I'm gonna try this one}

{and because I can't get enough washi tape, a cityscape outline!}
